Our Benefits

As a global employer with a diverse population, we understand everyone’s benefit needs are different.

Because your well-being is important to us, we offer benefit programs and resources for you and your dependents to support what’s important to you. If you’re considering a role that’s based outside of the United States, please contact your local recruiter for details about the specific benefits offered in that country.

Healthcare

We value your health and provide options so you can choose what best supports your lifestyle and personal health goals. A variety of nationwide plans — including Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser Permanente, DentalGuard, VSP and more — are available to you and your family. Our providers offer the flexibility you want and the coverage you need.

Wellness

With a large on-site gym and daily, instructor-led exercise classes at HQ in Santa Clara, Palo Alto Networks actively supports employee fitness. Our juice bar, Gym & Juice, features fresh juice blends, a quick and nutritious option pre- or post-workout. And our ongoing wellness speaker series highlights the latest trends in health and wellness.

Development

Professional development is serious business at Palo Alto Networks, where the Talent Development team offers 25+ courses to help employees boost their careers and develop leadership capability.

Financial

Palo Alto Networks offers both traditional and Roth 401(k) options, along with a company match of 50% to a max annual amount of $1,000. From life insurance to health savings accounts, we provide ways to help you protect and grow your wealth. And because we consider every employee a stakeholder in our long-term success, we offer an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) with a 24-month lookback.

Time Off

In addition to paid corporate holidays, Flexible Time Off programs empower our employees to balance their work schedules with personal time off. We offer 12 weeks of full pay for medical leave and 6 weeks of full pay for parental leave. As a company with strong ties to the military and veterans, we also offer 26 weeks of full pay for military leave.

Perks

Our corporate discount program provides employees with significant discounts on merchandise, travel and entertainment. We offer many on-site perks at headquarters, including cafeterias, fuel service, dry cleaning service, EV charging stations, and a company store. We also provide complimentary drinks, fresh fruit, and snacks in break rooms across our campus to help everyone power through the day.

Using Data to Improve Our Customers’ Experiences

Working in data science wasn’t a career that I ever aspired to, although technology has always been a part of my life.

My Palo Alto Networks Journey

I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that Palo Alto Networks actively look to hire personnel with different backgrounds and experiences as diversity brings new ideas to the organisation. If you see a job you want to apply for but feel like you might not be a perfect fit, then still apply. You have nothing to lose and it may result in a job offer.

Work Hard, Play Hard

My role in Palo Alto Networks is leading a team that develops Cortex XSOAR, a cutting-edge solution for the Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) market. This technology is all about enabling our solutions to complement the customers’ efforts in securing their organizations. In this role, I work to continuously improve our products and help organizations become much more efficient when protecting their data.

For the Aspiring Women in Technology

There are times that I believe women are held to a higher standard than men. We’re expected to juggle multiple roles every day: a great mom, a loving daughter, a supportive spouse, a career ninja, just to name a few. And with all of this, we’re expected to balance the rigors of the workplace: upcoming deadlines for projects, acing battle cards with a competitor, and driving results at every customer interaction.
