Job Summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly motivated and strategically-minded Senior Supply Chain Product Manager to join our fast-growing World-Wide Operations team. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role for a professional who thrives on product ownership and high-stakes execution. You will be the primary lead for ensuring E2E supply continuity for sustaining products and production revenue, acting as the strategic "connective tissue" between internal stakeholders and our EMS partner. We are looking for a "take-charge" leader who can navigate complexity, leverage emerging AI technologies, and drive results with minimal supervision. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Product Management and is based at our headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the E2E supply continuity of assigned product portfolios, ensuring the manufacturing engine is tuned to meet the Planning team's gross plan without friction.

  • Orchestrate EMS partner/CM communication and deliverables, optimizing the partnership to ensure key product metrics and revenue targets are exceeded.

  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (Engineering, Quality, TechOps) and EMS partners, leading the resolution of complex product issues, including re-spins, qualifications, and quality excursions.

  • Partner with the SCMM team on materials CTB (Clear-to-Build) frameworks, identifying long-range risks and designing sophisticated mitigation plans to prevent supply gaps.

  • Transform manual data collection into automated, real-time reporting architectures and lead the implementation of AI-driven insights and predictive analytics to identify supply bottlenecks, optimize production throughput, and improve commit accuracy.

  • Own and monitor Supply Chain KPIs (Commit Accuracy, Attainment QTD), presenting executive summaries and strategic recovery plans during Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) using automated dashboards.

  • Serve as a primary consultant on crucial projects that impact assigned products, analyzing data and making critical, independent decisions that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

  • Identify operational gaps and implement industry best practices and automation to improve overall supply chain scalability.

  • Lead the product transition from NPI to Sustaining, ensuring a flawless Transfer of Information (TOI) and setting the foundation for long-term manufacturing success.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 8-10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Product Management, Program Management, or Operations/Manufacturing.

  • Demonstrated experience in automating complex reports and utilizing AI/Machine Learning frameworks to optimize supply execution, identify fulfillment risks, or resolve manufacturing bottlenecks.

  • Proven track record of managing and influencing Contract Manufacturing/EMS providers for high-complexity, custom-designed hardware.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and facilitate agreements among diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • A "take-charge" attitude with the ability to work with limited direction and handle high-pressure scenarios with common sense and sound business judgment.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP, Arena, and advanced Tableau (or similar BI tools) for reporting automation and translating complex data into actionable operational strategies.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex supply chain concepts to various levels of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Contract Manufacturing Management (Technical problem solving, KPIs, Commits, Capacity)

  • Product Scope (Hardware Sustaining lifecycle management and NPI)

  • AI, Process and Reporting Automation (Analytics)

  • Leadership and able to take charge
