Job Summary

As the Global Intelligence Production Manager, you will manage the execution layer of the Global Intelligence function. You will lead the processes, analytic standards, workflows, and multi-regional coordination that enable the team to deliver timely, consistent, and decision-useful intelligence to senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for intake, prioritization, production workflow, quality control, escalation discipline, metrics, and operational governance. You will help scale the function from an analyst-driven support model into a mature, program-based global intelligence capability. 

This role requires a leader who can operate in ambiguity, manage sensitive risk issues, coordinate across time zones, and translate intelligence requirements into clear outputs that support business, security, legal, and executive decisions.

This is an in office role 3 days/week in our HQ, Santa Clara, CA

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operating rhythm of the Global Intelligence team, including intake, prioritization, tasking, production workflow, quality control, and escalation management.

  • Conduct and oversee open-source intelligence collection and analysis to identify, assess, and prioritize geopolitical, physical security, protective intelligence, and nation-state risks to the company, its personnel, executives, operations, and strategic interests.

  • Produce and manage clear analytical products ranging from quick-turn situational updates to in-depth strategic intelligence assessments, threat assessments, executive briefs, and horizon-scanning reports.

  • Establish and maintain quality-control standards for intelligence products, including sourcing, analytic rigor, clarity, relevance, and actionable security recommendations.

  • Conduct and oversee horizon scanning for emerging geopolitical flashpoints, policy shifts, conflict dynamics, social unrest, terrorism, crime, macro-trends, and other developments or emerging security trends that could affect company operations or strategic positioning.

  • Develop and maintain operating procedures, escalation matrices, production templates, intelligence requirements, playbooks, and after-action review processes.

  • Support protective intelligence operations by ensuring sensitive executive threat matters, concerning communications, and actor-related assessments are documented, prioritized, and escalated appropriately.

  • Partner with the GSOC to ensure real-time monitoring and incident awareness are connected to deeper analysis, forecasting, and business-relevant risk assessment.

  • Track and report metrics related to intelligence production, response times, stakeholder support, crisis activations, executive protection support, and operational effectiveness.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, development, and performance feedback for regional intel leads, contractors, or intelligence support resources, as applicable.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, Regional Studies, Journalism, Business, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, corporate security, protective intelligence, geopolitical risk, crisis management, public sector intelligence, threat assessment, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience managing intelligence workflows, analytic production cycles, operational processes, or cross-functional risk programs.

  • Proficiency with OSINT tools, social media monitoring platforms, OSINT tools, mapping platforms, travel risk systems, case management platforms, and incident management systems.

  • Strong understanding of intelligence tradecraft, including proficiency with OSINT methodology, source evaluation, structured analytic techniques, and commercial intelligence platforms.

  • Proven ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments and translate complex risk developments into clear priorities, products, and recommendations.

  • Strong project and program management skills, with experience building or improving workflows, playbooks, templates, metrics, dashboards, or governance mechanisms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief complex issues clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.

  • Sound judgment, discretion, and maturity when handling sensitive, confidential, executive-facing, legally sensitive, or reputationally sensitive matters.

  • Ability to work across regions and time zones, including coordination with distributed team members and stakeholders in the Americas, JAPAC, India, and EMEA.

  • Experience developing intelligence metrics, operational dashboards, stakeholder reporting, or after-action reviews. 

Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree or PhD in International Relations, Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Public Policy, Regional Studies, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Foreign language skills are preferred, especially languages relevant to JAPAC, EMEA, MENA, or other regions of company operations.

  • Experience in a multinational technology company, corporate security organization, intelligence vendor, government intelligence role, military intelligence environment, law enforcement intelligence unit, or risk advisory function.

  • Experience leading analysts, contractors, vendors, regional intelligence resources, or cross-functional working groups.

  • Regional expertise in JAPAC, EMEA/MENA, or LATAM or subject matter expertise in global security issues.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$117,000.00 - $189,000.00/yr
