The Senior Partner Delivery Leader (Sr. PDL) acts as the Strategic Advisor for Palo Alto Networks' most critical partner relationships. The Sr. PDL serves as a business leader responsible for bridging the gap between our internal organizations (Product, R&D, Support) and the partner's complex ecosystem. In this capacity, you will manage assigned Managed Security Services Partners (MSSPs), orchestrating the entire post-sales relationship to ensure the partners’ end customers achieve success with our products. You will move beyond tactical project management to de-risk the post-sales journey and accelerate deployment velocity, while deeply aligning with the partner’s business strategy and service capabilities to assure the overall quality of delivery for their managed security services.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end partner service lifecycle to minimize "Time to Revenue" (TTR) and “Time to Adoption” (TTA) and unblock technical friction delaying monetization.
Partner with Sales to ensure 100% alignment between Sales Account Plans and post-sales Partner Success Plans (PSP)
Serve as the principal Strategic Advisor for delivery requirements, orchestrating a unified "Customer Surround Model" across Product, R&D, and Support to ensure a seamless post-sales journey for the partner.
Lead the governance of partner compliance standards, ensuring rigorous adherence to training and certification requirements while providing oversight to guarantee the quality and integrity of the partner’s managed service delivery
Orchestrate partner capacity scaling by converting sales forecasts into actionable delivery strategies; proactively identify and remediate capability gaps to ensure high-velocity end-customer deployments.
Lead the resolution of high-impact partner escalations by synchronizing cross-functional efforts across Account Teams, Engineering, and Partner stakeholders; ensure rapid recovery and long-term stability for critical customer environments.
Identify “At Risk” accounts; lead cross-functional recovery strategies that stabilize partner delivery and protect commercial interests
Facilitate high-impact Quarterly Service Reviews (QSRs) to ensure strict alignment with long-term strategic objectives; validate partner delivery capabilities and technical maturity to guarantee readiness for upcoming product launches and complex future deployments.
Lead the identification and remediation of systemic service delivery issues; leverage data-driven insights to resolve cross-partner bottlenecks and uphold the highest standards of end-customer satisfaction.
Aggregate global partner delivery trends and product friction points to develop high-impact Voice of the Partner (VoP) insights
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Post-Sales Account Management, Partner Success, or Program Management within a matrixed Service Provider and Global Service Integrator environment.
Exceptional executive presence, with strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders from the SOC analyst to the CISO.
Experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior security leaders, with the ability to diagnose challenges and deliver strategic recommendations.
Ability to link technical deployment outcomes to business metrics like TTR, TTA, and Renewal Risk.
Experience managing partner health through data (SKUs, CRM/IT systems, and telemetry).
BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; or equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical experience in the CyberSecurity domain or with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
PMP or ITIL certification.
Experience with AI-driven productivity tools for operational reporting.
Proven track record in strategic governance and risk mitigation (e.g., executing "Get Well" plans).
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
