As the Director of Channel Sales for Canada, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for our Canadian partner ecosystem. You will lead a team of high-performing channel managers to drive revenue growth, expand our partner network, and solidify our market position. This is a crucial role for our overall success in Canada, requiring a strategic leader to build and nurture a thriving channel business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the comprehensive channel sales strategy for the Canadian market to achieve revenue targets.
Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing team of channel account managers.
Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with key channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and MSPs.
Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue through effective co-selling, marketing, and enablement programs.
Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and regular reporting on channel performance.
Collaborate with direct sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives.
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of new and existing partners.
Act as the primary evangelist for the company within the Canadian partner community.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience, or Master's degree with 12 years of experience, or PhD with 8 years of experience.
Extensive experience in channel sales leadership within the enterprise software, cybersecurity, or networking industry.
Proven track record of successfully building and leading a channel sales team to exceed revenue goals.
Deep understanding of the Canadian IT channel ecosystem and market dynamics.
Demonstrated experience as a people manager with a focus on coaching and developing talent.
Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and business development skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with SASE and network security solutions.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
Pre-existing executive relationships with major Canadian technology distributors and value-added resellers.
Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
