Job Summary

Your Career

We are looking for a talented, ambitious team player to lead Palo Alto Networks' Brand Sponsorships and Hospitality program. Reporting to the Vice President of Experiential Marketing, you will join our high-accountability, low-ego team to conceptualize and lead a world-class portfolio of brand alliances.The ideal candidate is a strategic collaborator and expert negotiator who understands that how we show up—from elite sports arenas to high-touch executive hospitality—is as important as what we say. In this role, you are the architect of our physical brand presence with our brand sponsorship partners. You will bring fresh ideas to ensure Palo Alto Networks remains at the forefront of the industry through high-impact, emotive connections with our customers.

Your Impact

  • Strategic Sponsorship Leadership: Oversee and manage the end-to-to end strategy for sponsorship and partnership portfolios, defining a 3-5 year vision that delivers significant business impact.

  • Hospitality & Physical Experiences: Lead the strategy and deployment of premium hospitality and physical experiences, driving a link between our brand sponsorships, customer engagement and tangible business results.

  • High-Stakes Negotiation: Conceptualize and negotiate long-lasting partnerships with major brands, leagues, and venues, personally crafting and closing high-exposure deals.

  • ROI & Accountability: Operationalize ROI tracking and financial acumen across the enterprise to communicate the business benefits and return on investment of key partnerships.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner skillfully with Marketing, Sales, andExecutive leadership to synthesize business roadmaps into break through sponsorship expansion.

  • Agency & Relationship Management: Manage agent, agency and global contracts to ensure Palo Alto Networks engages best-in-class partners while maintaining budget integrity.

  • Executive Advocacy: Serve as the primary advocate and point-of-contact for all sponsorship programs, navigating complex internal organizations to generate  buy-in for new initiatives

Qualifications

Experience
  • 12-15+ years of experience in marketing, sports marketing, or brand partnerships, specifically managing large, high-exposure deals.

  • High Accountability, Low Ego: A proven track record of taking initiative and driving results while maintaining a collaborative, supportive, and grounded team-first attitude.

  • Expert Negotiator: Superior communication skills with the demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable, long-term partnership contracts.

  • Master Project Manager: Exceptional ability to manage complex agency workflows and internal activation enablement without losing sight of the details.

  • Relationship Driven: A natural ability to build strong partnerships with C-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • Steely Under Pressure: Undaunted by tight deadlines and high-stakes initiatives; a pro at executing with speed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A "get things done" attitude with a bias for action and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

  • Location: Ability to work out of our Santa Clara office in our hybrid model.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$176,000.00 - $240,500.00/yr
