Your Career

PANW is seeking a Manager, EMEA Workplace Resources to join our awesome EMEA Places team. Based in Amsterdam, you will play a key part in managing Palo Alto Networks’ local locations and in parallel be responsible for a number of regional projects.  By providing best in class workplace experiences and supporting our FLEXwork policy this role is critical to delivering the company’s commitment “To create a safe and collaborative workspace that supports our flexible and inclusive culture”.

Reporting to the Director, EMEA Places, the role requires high energy, can do attitude with ability to work independently and also collaboratively.

Your Impact:

Some of the cool stuff you get to do:

  • Manage the Amsterdam Places team, in charge of the daily  facilities operations and administrative function and logistics to provide the best employee experience.

  • Manage Palo Alto Networks real estate portfolio in Amsterdam which includes the regional HQ. Handle lease termination and renewals, office expansion and relocation projects in line with business needs.

  • Build strong relationships with regional business leaders and cross-departmental teams. Influence through timely, relevant, and targeted communication that balances the needs of the business with the services provided by our team.

  • Assist with project bid and tender process and administer relevant documentation relating to the facility location, including for any minor alteration and addition works.

  • Manage new office opening and closure of old facilities while keeping business continuity. Support communication and employee engagement. 

  • Work closely with the Director, EMEA Places on Palo Alto Networks EMEA projects and new real estate projects across the EMEA region.

  • Partner effectively with key groups such as IT, Safety & Security, Procurement, Finance, and the People team. Maintain regular communications with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all concerned parties are well informed on relevant topics. 

  • Oversee the operations of a number of Serviced offices across the region.

  • Building yearly plans and objectives that support our company strategy and business needs for both Amsterdam and other EMEA offices.

  • Driving the change in our offices towards FLEXWORK. Experience in implementing new office concepts.

  • Plan space allocation with an optimal utilization of space resources.

  • Tracks and manages the opex and capex budget and provide accurate forecasts spent to work within the agreed budget

  • Any ad-hoc duties and projects as required to meet the needs of the business or as directed by the Director, EMEA Places.

  • Developing and implementing sustainable ideas and solutions

  • Participating in or leading global project groups within the Places department

Your Experience

  • 5-7 years' workplace management experience in a multi national company with a degree in Administration, Facilities or Real Estate (an advantage).

  • Strong people and communication skills with demonstrable ability to work with business / functional leaders as well as employees at all levels

  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with an analytical mind.

  • Ability to effectively drive multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational, methodical, problem-solving skills and works well under pressure.

  • Self driven, positive attitude, sense of humor and enjoys having fun

  • A team player with leadership skill

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.

  • Superior English language, written and oral, communication skills   required.  Dutch an advantage
