 About this Role

As Marketing Operations Program Manager on the Strategy, Growth & Operations team you will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent, high visibility projects using agile methods in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with marketing leadership and x-functional teams as a strategic lever in driving more effective project execution and leading workstreams to achieve a high level of performance and quality.

You will have the unique opportunity to consult and advise program managers across the marketing org and create an agile program management community. You will share best practices that will be leveraged to improve overall team efficiency and effectiveness.

In addition, you will establish and own the operating rhythm for the Strategy, Growth & Operations team and will be responsible for improving project status visibility, creating efficiencies and driving alignment.  

Your Impact

  • Architect, accelerate progress, and complete strategic, complex projects

    • Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.

    • Organize into workstreams and lead project status and working meetings.

    • Manage risks and issues, remove roadblocks and correct deviations from plans.

    • Hold teams accountable for their commitments.

  • Boost team efficiency and reduce redundant work by leveraging your agile program management skills, establish best practices and accelerate adoption

  • Achieve scalability and establish consistent processes to enable more efficient execution across the organization

  • Innovate and test new program management trends to improve processes

  • Improve alignment and project visibility. Establish and own the operating rhythm for the Strategy, Growth and Operations organization

  • Empower our regions and improve the alignment and scalability with our regional marketing teams

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field required

  • Expertise in both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit the project and business environment

  • 5+ years of experience as a Marketing Project Manager, PMP preferred

  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies

  • A proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects in a fast paced environment using Agile methodologies and Project Management tools such as Jira 

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands; Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and technical teams at all levels

  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view

  • Deadline-driven, organized, and able to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands that result from a high-growth environment

  • Strong EQ - effective interpersonal skills to build working relationships and accomplish work goals; Strong ability to help people feel valued, appreciated and included in discussions

Disclosure required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum compensation (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) for this role to be located in the state of Colorado. If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $88,000/yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
