Your Impact

Automation is a mission-critical objective for our organization, without it we will not scale.  This role will be key in seamlessly integrating technologies that will enable our employees to focus on important areas, such as building great products.  We are seeking an individual that always thinks automation first and is passionate about delivering great quality services with the best possible end-user experience.  Creating a python script to save someone on your team several hours a month in manual effort is something you love to do.  You are a technologist at heart and are passionate about making sure all tools in the ecosystem seamlessly perform together and deliver the most value for the organization.  You love playing the innovation maestro in this technology orchestra.

In this role, you will:

  • Orchestrate:   Applications and systems 

  • Identify:  Manual processes that could easily be automated

  • Collaborate:   End-user engineering, employee success, and employee experience teams to identify automation opportunities

Your Experience

  • Building rich full stack applications using React or Angular for the front end and Node, Flask, Django or Springboot for the backend

  • Has worked with different authentication standards such as oAuth 2.0, PKCE, Implicit Grant, and JWTs

  • Nice have but not required experience with React Native

  • Strong experience with cloud computing services such as AWS or GCP

  • Has used scripting languages such as Python or Go

  • Has performed as the technical lead to set security and application standards

  • Builds unique and innovative solutions using full-stack technologies and cloud native services

  • Experience using Git and other system software

  • SOA expert (API, REST, etc) 

  • Excellent communication and diagramming skills to translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa

  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture 

  • Has a strong understand of network security from an application point of view

  • Has performed penetration testing on full-stack applications and are familiar with standard application vulnerabilities such as Cross-Site Scripting+

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience in information / cyber security, computer systems, IT, etc.
