Job Summary

The Brand & Creative team plays a pivotal role responsible for evolving Palo Alto Networks’ brand into a globally recognized, digital-first symbol of Trust, Innovation, and AI-powered security. Reporting into the Director of Creative Operations, this Creative Operations Manager will focus on balancing world-class creative craft with rigorous operational discipline. You will design and implement the workflows that enable scale, speed, and consistency in a highly complex, global enterprise.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Orchestrator: Leads the end-to-end execution of global, innovative, and high-impact campaigns and programs by being a relentless driver of the work in partnership with teams, and your peers across Marketing.

  • The Connective Tissue: Partners effectively with Brand Managers, Product Marketing, Product, Campaign/Media, PR/Comms, Social and Regional Marketing stakeholders to manage go-to-market integrated campaigns and deliver exceptional brand/product experiences.

  • The Diplomat: Influences others through the entire campaign development journey to ensure input, alignment, and understanding of the campaign approach and details, managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating constructive creative reviews.

  • The Guardian: Ensures the execution of all brand messages effectively captures the PANW voice and drives brand equity through structured operational frameworks and rigorous quality control during the production process.

  • Contributes to the team culture of highly creative and ambitious marketers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign & Production Leadership

  • Drives the flawless execution and production of Palo Alto Networks’ global brand campaigns, translating fragmented product narratives into a cohesive, platform-level story.

  • Manages the end-to-end production lifecycle for our full year modern marketing plan—from initial scoping, brief intake, and resource allocation to routing, final delivery, and asset trafficking across brand, digital marketing, social media, Comms, sales, events, and regional marketing.

  • Develops and manages comprehensive production timelines, project plans, and budgets, proactively identifying risks and removing roadblocks for the creative team.

Orchestrating Creative Excellence

  • Partners with our internal Creative team to evolve into an AI-first, high-performing creative studio that balances bespoke, world-class craft with scalable, repeatable asset production.

  • Acts as the primary liaison ("Account Lead") for the internal creative studio, leading daily stand-ups, status meetings, and creative reviews to keep the work moving efficiently.

  • Partners closely with working teams across Product Marketing, Media, Events & Comms teams to interrogate and refine strategically sound marketing briefs that drive our always-on creative development process.

  • Leads the operational execution of our creative strategy and production for integrated, 360-degree global campaigns (video, digital, print, experiential, social), ensuring seamless consistency.

Brand Governance & Workflow Optimization

  • Leads the implementation of scalable creative systems (playbooks, etc.) including AI-enabled workflows and design platforms that empower teams without diluting brand quality.

  • Enforces clear brand standards, visual systems, and tone of voice, enabling global teams to execute with speed while maintaining absolute brand integrity.

Measurement & Impact

  • Leverages data, research, and insight to continuously refine how we work across campaign & creative development, driving efficiencies in the production pipeline.

  • Acts as a student that never graduates by driving documented post-mortems after every major piece of work is launched so we can incorporate those learnings into the way we work next time.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of creative operations, production, or account management experience, ideally with a background at a top-tier advertising agency (e.g., as an Account Director or Account Supervisor) or an in-house creative studio at a global technology company.

  • Deep expertise in managing the production of modern content ecosystems and large-scale integrated campaigns (video, digital, social, web), with a track record of leveraging AI into creative workflows and operating models.

  • Proficiency in our core operational and collaboration stack (Asana, Google Suite) to drive seamless workflows, coupled with experience leveraging Canva for Enterprise to scale asset production and empower internal teams.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at the working & executive level, with strong client-service and stakeholder management skills.

  • Builds partnership and collaboration to address organization-wide challenges or opportunities.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; the ability to explain operational directions to a broad audience, and to contribute effectively during all phases of development.

  • A "get things done" creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, remains calm under pressure, and continuously pushes the boundaries of traditional enterprise tech marketing.
