Job Summary
Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced Operations leader to join as Senior Director of Global Ecosystems Business Operations. We seek a highly collaborative strategist with a passion for re-engineering processes for scale and a relentless focus on data-driven accountability. You will be the primary architect of our route-to-market (RTM) operational framework, building the operational engine of our ecosystems. This role bridges high-level strategy and granular operational execution, ensuring every process is backed by high-integrity data.
Key Responsibilities
Establish a single source of truth for the Global Ecosystems organization by auditing, cleaning, and harmonizing disparate data sets.
Implement rigorous data governance standards to ensure partner attribution, deal registration, and incentive payouts are accurate and transparent.
Design and deliver operational systems and teams required for flawless execution on Cloud marketplace, Distributor stocking, and other RTM bets.
Translate GTM and Ecosystems strategies into operational processes, programs, and capacity plans, owning the execution of day-to-day operations.
Provide expert guidance on partner growth programs, ensuring back-end systems can track ROI and performance at a granular level.
Improve existing Channel (Distributor/VAR) operations, including onboarding, helpdesks, and rebate processes, by leveraging automation.
Serve as the singular point-of-contact for Ecosystems Operations, advising the SVP of Global Ecosystems and aligning with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
12+ years of experience leading RTM strategy or operations within high-growth, complex environments.
Deep expertise across GSI, Cloud Provider, and Distributor models with a focus on scaling $100M+ commercial partnerships.
Demonstrated experience transforming, redesigning, or standing up new operational frameworks to drive efficiency and automation.
Proven track record of architecting data-centric organizations, including auditing complex data sets and enforcing data governance.
Ability to translate high-level GTM strategies into actionable capacity plans and KPIs, with understanding of SaaS and hardware business models.
Expertise in building and leading high-performing, multiregional teams, including recruiting and performance management.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
