Palo Alto Networks is seeking a senior-level Event Operations Engineer with advanced technical experience supporting live and remote events by using audio/visual solutions in an enterprise environment. You will support highly critical live events using a variety of audio and video technologies, including digital video cameras, video switchers, audio mixers, and collaboration platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting C-level executives, demonstrate strong communication skills, and possess a deep working knowledge of A/V integration, production, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive technical support for high-stakes live, hybrid, and remote events, ensuring seamless execution for C-level executives and key stakeholders.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot a wide range of A/V equipment, including digital video cameras, video switchers, audio mixers, wireless microphones, and display systems.
Manage and support remote event platforms such as Zoom Meeting, Webinar, and Events, including integration with hardware-based A/V systems.
Collaborate proactively with event coordinators, producers, and executive assistants to understand technical requirements and ensure all equipment meets event specifications.
Diagnose and resolve issues with conference room components, including AV controllers, matrix switchers, DSP mixers, and Crestron/QSys control systems.
Perform post-production editing and enhancement of event recordings using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro to deliver polished, high-quality video assets.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates and addressing technical concerns with professionalism and tact.
Maintain a focus on the details by monitoring A/V systems throughout events and making real-time adjustments to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in audio/visual services, videoconferencing, or event production services in a corporate environment.
In-depth knowledge of A/V technologies, including digital video cameras, display/projector devices, video switchers, audio mixers, and video connectivity standards.
Demonstrated experience with collaboration services, including Zoom, Webex, and GoToMeeting.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, such as Ethernet switches, fiber optics, and protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, HTTP, RTP).
Proven ability to support and establish professional relationships with C-level executives and other senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
Crestron and/or QSys certification.
Experience with conference room systems such as Neat Bars, Logitech Rally bars, DTEN, and Avocor.
Post-production experience with advanced editing tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Camtasia, QuickTime).
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing schedules.
