The Team
Prisma Cloud is widely recognized as the industry’s most comprehensive Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP).
It is designed to secure the entire "Code to Cloud" lifecycle, providing security teams with a single dashboard to manage risks across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
Core Capabilities
The platform is built on several key pillars that a Global Solution Architect (GSA) typically manages:
- Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): Continuously monitors cloud resources to detect misconfigurations, ensure compliance (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA), and visualize security risks.
- Cloud Workload Protection (CWP): Secures the actual "units" of compute, including hosts (VMs), containers (Kubernetes), and serverless functions, protecting them from vulnerabilities and active threats during runtime.
- Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM): Analyzes permissions to enforce "least-privileged" access, ensuring that users and service accounts only have the permissions they truly need.
Web Application and API Security (WAAS): Specifically protects web apps and APIs from the OWASP Top 10 threats and other layer-7 attacks
As a Global Solution Architect, you would be the bridge between these complex technical capabilities and the specific business security needs of global enterprises.
