Job Summary

The Director of Federal Product & Program Integration bridges the gap between US Federal customer needs and core product execution. In this role, you will partner directly with the Principal Product Manager (FedRAMP & DoD) to translate complex government requirements into clear, strategic roadmaps that engineering and product teams can execute. You will also directly manage critical programs, ensuring the successful delivery of products and services tailored to our US Federal customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Product Partnership: Partner closely with the Principal Product Manager (FedRAMP & DoD) to align federal customer demands with internal product capabilities and long-term roadmaps.

  • Requirement Translation: Turn complex federal customer requirements, compliance standards, and mission needs into concrete, actionable strategic plans for product and engineering teams.

  • Program Management: Oversee and drive the delivery of critical programs for US Federal clients, ensuring they hit milestones on time and within scope.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary link between the US Federal Sales team and internal product organizations to ensure everyone is aligned on federal priorities.

  • Risk & Compliance Tracking: Monitor program health, identify potential delivery bottlenecks or compliance risks (specifically regarding FedRAMP and DoD frameworks), and implement quick solutions to keep programs on track.

  • Federal Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of the US Federal market, including specific experience navigating FedRAMP certification processes, Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, and the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.

  • Technical Translation Skills: Proven ability to take non-technical or highly regulatory customer requirements and break them down into technical execution strategies for product teams.

  • Program Leadership: Extensive experience managing large-scale, high-stakes programs from conception through delivery, ideally within a sales or go-to-market organization.

  • Collaboration: Strong relationship-building skills with a track record of successfully partnering with product managers, engineers, and sales executives.

  • Clear Communication: Ability to explain complex technical constraints to sales teams and customers, and conversely, explain mission-critical compliance needs to technical teams.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technical program management, product execution, or related strategic roles.

  • Proven experience operating cross-functionally and driving execution across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams, often without formal authority.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and compliance realities into actionable business guidance.

  • Experience supporting federal, defense, or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity and working knowledge of federal compliance frameworks, specifically FedRAMP and DoD IL5.

  • Background in large-scale platform or cloud security solutions.

  • Security Clearance Requirement: Active or eligible U.S. Security Clearance is strongly preferred.

  • Location: Santa Clara, CA or Washington DC metro area.
