Palo Alto Networks at the AISES Conference

Rivers of Resilience flowed strong at the AISES conference, where we had the honor of connecting with the indigenous community. We’re leaving inspired by the conversations, connections, and incredible talent we connected with onsite. Sadie Belton, a member of the Native community and Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks, shares her experience attending AISES this year:

"One of the highlights for me was participating in an event where I spoke about cybersecurity and mentored Native American youth. It was meaningful to offer guidance, having once been in their shoes, and to give back to the next generation. As Native professionals in tech, it's essential to stay grounded, remember where we come from, and remain connected to our culture and community. I truly admire AISES for bringing Indigenous professionals and students together, especially given the underrepresentation of Native Americans in tech, where we make up less than 1% of the workforce. AISES plays a key role in supporting the growth of Indigenous talent."
