Job Summary

Your Career

At Palo Alto Networks, we're looking for an experienced engineering leader to build and scale world-class cloud-native security products. You will lead a high-performing engineering organization responsible for designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale SaaS solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive execution, mentor engineering talent, and partner closely with Product Management, Architecture, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative security solutions.

Your Impact

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Drive the architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale SaaS products with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Architecture, Security, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative Identity Security solutions.
• Build and scale cloud-native applications leveraging modern distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Establish engineering best practices across software development, testing, code quality, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
• Drive Agile development processes, sprint planning, execution, and continuous delivery.
• Coach engineering managers and individual contributors while building strong technical leadership within the team.
• Champion engineering excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure products are designed with security, multi-tenancy, scalability, and high availability as foundational principles.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and help drive technical innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including building enterprise-scale software products.
• 8+ years of experience leading, hiring, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Proven experience managing engineering organizations of 12+ engineers.
• Strong hands-on experience building enterprise SaaS products, preferably in Identity and Access Management (IAM), cybersecurity, or cloud security domains.
• Deep expertise in designing scalable distributed systems and modern web applications.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including serverless technologies.
• Strong programming experience in one or more of the languages
• Experience implementing modern CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Scrum teams consisting of software engineers and QA engineers.
• Hands-on knowledge of software security, multi-tenancy, scalability, high availability, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, software development lifecycle, and cloud-native application development.
• Proven ability to drive engineering process improvements and build high-performing, collaborative engineering teams.
• Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced technology organizations
