The AI Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will own positioning, narrative, and Go-To-Market (GTM) outcomes for a product line. The PMM is responsible for the high-stakes human-in-the-loop decisions: category creation, competitive "trap-setting," and executive-level influence. They act as the Chief Quality Officer for the AI-generated GTM engine, ensuring that speed never comes at the expense of differentiation. They are the primary interface with Product leadership and are accountable for market impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect the overarching messaging framework for the AI content engine, ensuring brand integrity.
- Lead category creation efforts, defining new market spaces and customer evaluation criteria.
- Determine the GTM motion (e.g., land vs. expand) and align material requirements to commercial goals.
- Partner with Product Management leadership to translate market gaps into prioritized product requirements.
- Own and develop strategic relationships with Tier-1 industry analysts.
- Deliver high-impact, executive-level presentations for EBCs and industry events.
- Develop offensive and defensive competitive plays based on market synthesis.
- Design sales displacement strategies that exploit competitor weaknesses.
- Establish differentiated positioning and influence product roadmap, pricing, and packaging decisions.
- Improve win-rates, pipeline quality, and sales confidence through measured impact.
- Lead Tier-1 product launches end-to-end with executive confidence.
- Mentor early-career PMM talent and elevate team execution standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 4-12 years of professional experience in Product Marketing or relevant experience; OR Master’s degree/MBA with 2-10 years of experience.
- Proven track record of owning product positioning and GTM strategy for a product line.
- Experience with, or strong understanding of, AI-driven workflows and content generation in a marketing context.
- Successful experience establishing differentiated market narratives and driving product launches.
- Ability to interface and influence executive-level stakeholders (Product, Sales, Engineering).
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
