Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program and Delivery Manager to join the Palo Alto Networks New Product Introduction (NPI) team within IT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in portfolio management, roadmapping, and delivering complex business and technology transformation projects. You will act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, driving program health, making data-driven decisions, and managing executive communications to ensure the successful delivery of our company’s most strategic NPI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and large transformational initiatives, identifying cross-functional dependencies, anticipating and mitigating risks, and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Manage the NPI portfolio by collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, and scrum masters to align business strategy with program execution.

  • Drive transformation roadmaps and collaborate with stakeholders to help scale business capabilities with the growth of the organization.

  • Candidate should be “AI Ready’ and should be able to drive NPI velocity leveraging AI tools.

    • Algorithmic Velocity Driving: Proven ability to identify bottlenecks in the NPI lifecycle and deploy AI/ML or automation solutions (e.g., predictive scheduling,  AI-driven risk mitigation) to measurably reduce time-to-market.

    • Data-Centric Program Orchestration: Expert proficiency in leveraging data pipelines and low-code/no-code tools to automate cross-functional handoffs, documentation generation , and real-time status reporting across PLM and ERP systems.

  • Communicate program status and progress effectively across multiple levels, including the executive leadership team, managers, and peers.

  • Partner with product teams to facilitate initiatives for new product launches, feedback management, and escalations.

  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports on the progress of transformational initiatives to our operational leaders and executive team.

  • Contribute to the development and rollout of project delivery and portfolio management standards across the organization.

  • Demonstrate curiosity to learn and optimize existing business processes, and assist in the development of business cases and value analyses.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12+ years of program management experience in a fast-moving, agile environment, or equivalent military experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or an MBA.

  • Functional experience in go-to-market programs, customer experience, finance operations, or another core business capability.

  • Hands-on expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies and related tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical solutions while mitigating or removing obstacles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a large, enterprise technology company.

  • Experience driving quarterly portfolio planning workshops using proven frameworks to optimize ROI and measurable business value.

  • A self-starter with excellent judgment, incredible attention to detail, and a drive that motivates others on the team.

  • Highly collaborative team player comfortable providing and receiving open, real-time feedback to continuously improve team performance.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$155,000.00 - $251,000.00/yr
