Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary and highly strategic IT leader with strong technical acumen for reimagining the GTM processes using AI First mindset. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the internal product vision, roadmap, and delivery of the platforms that power Palo Alto Networks’ multi-billion-dollar revenue engine.You will tackle challenges using a first principles approach, ensuring solutions meet current needs and anticipate future industry shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the long-term product vision and strategic roadmap for all GTM capabilities 

  • Think first principles to reimagine the GTM application space with AI First mindset, moving beyond traditional software engineering to design and build intelligent, agentic workflows to automate complex GTM business logic

  • Lead ground-level, atomic discussions on what an AI-led experience looks like for sellers in the future

  • Approach problems with a solution design and architecture mindset 

  • Rapid Prototyping: Drive a culture of "hands-on" validation by translating complex concepts into functional prototypes before full-scale engineering commitment.

  • Drive user-centric innovation for Sellers, leveraging product discovery, automation, and AI to ruthlessly eliminate user friction, enhance data accuracy, and accelerate lead-to-cash velocity.

  • Act as a forward-thinking platform product leader, identifying how emerging technologies (such as Generative AI and advanced product analytics) can optimize pipeline generation and sales productivity.

  • Translate complex corporate strategies into clear product requirements and scalable technical realities, managing competing stakeholder priorities with transparency, data-backed roadmaps, and diplomatic authority.

  • Establish cross-functional product governance frameworks to ensure absolute alignment across business units on funding, backlog prioritization, and risk mitigation.

  • Safeguard platform health and stability, balancing the delivery of new features with the tech-debt management and scalability of foundational systems (e.g., Salesforce, modern ERP integrations, CPQ engines).

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global team of IT application leads, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects, fostering a culture of product excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity.

  • Player coach mindset to drive technical and functional architecture to drive AI architecture and excellence

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience; or Master's degree with 12 years of experience

  • Strong understanding of GTM processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement solutions based on a first principles approach.

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and transitions in dynamic environments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.

  • Experience using AI-driven coding tools or low-code environments to explore data structures and automate repetitive sales-ops workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical or business-related field.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Forecasting and Territory Planning

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Proven track record of using LLMs or agentic workflows to accelerate product discovery, data cleaning, or complex formula generation

  • Prior experience working in a Principal or Director-level capacity, demonstrating ownership over a significant product area.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$223,000.00 - $306,500.00/yr
