Your Career Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced finance professional to join the team as a Senior Manager, Corporate Finance.We’re looking for someone with an analytical mind and strong knowledge of finance, who is a self-starter, a great communicator, and passionate about driving change in a dynamic fast-paced environment.This role will be responsible for providing key topline and profitability insights that will drive executive decision-making at the corporate level. This is currently an individual contributor role with future potential for expansion into team management. Your Impact Deliver accurate revenue and RPO forecasts as part of the Close the Quarter process Assess topline impact of internal initiatives, new opportunities, and accounting policy changes Establish new processes and improve existing processes for topline reporting & visibility, including topics such as renewals revenue streams, registration behavior, and theater performance Prepare regular reporting packages, including CFO topline insights, executive team / Board of Directors content, and internal / external auditor close requirements Provide financial support for M&A activities, including analysis and integration planning Investigate and provide insights to ad hoc C-suite requestsQualifications
Your Experience 7+ years related experience showing strong career progression and prior topline ownership. Prior Corporate FP&A experience and familiarity with US GAAP revenue standards for technology companies/SaaS companies are both a plus Experience working with a combination of bookings, RPO, revenue, and ARR Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, leveraging Tableau and Pigment to improve accuracy, automation, and visibility of key metrics. Familiarity in managing large datasets, applying relevant statistical frameworks and concepts, and deriving executive-level insights Strong experience with Google Workplace (Sheets & Slides), Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Tableau. Pigment experience is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business/Finance or related field (or equivalent military experience) is a plus Your Qualities Analytical thinker, with a desire to dig into and understand the details - and connect to the big picture Willingness and ability to adapt to rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment Team player with strong communication and presentation skills Independent with enthusiasm for solving unstructured questions and providing thought leadershipCompensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
