Job Summary

The Team

Our engineering team is at the core of our products and connected directly to the mission of preventing cyberattacks. We are constantly innovating — challenging the way we, and the industry, think about cybersecurity. Our engineers don’t shy away from building products to solve problems no one has pursued before. We need individuals who feel comfortable in ambiguity, excited by the prospect of a challenge, and empowered by the unknown risks facing our everyday lives that are only enabled by a secure digital environment.

Your Career:

Lead and manage a remote team of experienced SRE engineers across Europe, driving the strategic delivery, people development, and operational excellence for system reliability in a large-scale, multi-cloud production environment supporting tens of thousands of enterprise customers worldwide. This is a strategic Manager role focused on people management, technical oversight, and ensuring smooth execution across a complex, high-impact system within a fast-paced, cybersecurity-focused organization. You will be responsible for defining technical standards, career growth, and team performance.

Your Impact:

  • Manage team delivery and coordinate project execution for owning and operating large-scale, global production environments across multiple cloud providers.

  • Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to SRE team members on incident investigation and resolution, serving as the top technical escalation point.

  • Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers, including performance reviews, career development, and hiring.

  • Define and champion team best practices for system reliability, end-to-end troubleshooting, and drive architectural improvements across complex, distributed systems.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (CX, CS, Engineering) to align SRE goals with system reliability and performance commitments.

  • Set technical standards and provide deep expertise on modern DevOps and infrastructure tools including Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows.

  • Oversee the development and quality assurance of automation and tooling (primarily in Python) to eliminate toil.

  • Drive a culture of operational excellence, deep system architecture understanding, and high-availability across the European SRE team.

  • On call responsibilities: Actively participate in the on-call rotation and manage and maintain the team's on-call shifts. Serve as the critical technical escalation point for the team, maintaining operational context during regional working hours.

    • Daytime hours

    • Occasional weekends and holidays (rotation-based)

Your Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles in production environments at scale, including 2+ years of direct people management experience leading an SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure team.

  • Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of reliable, multi-cloud infrastructure and coordinating cross-functional team delivery.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform, specifically leveraged to set technical standards and roadmaps.

  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP or AWS required).

  • Expertise in architecting and configuring monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.

  • Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills, with a focus on post-mortem leadership and remediation.

  • Proven ability to manage, technically guide, and drive delivery for other SREs in a remote setting.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high context switching.
