Job Summary
This position is for an Automation Development Engineer focused on technical solutions for our Windows Agent. You will join a team of talented software engineers to innovate, implement, and support the product roadmap. Your primary role will be developing automation for a Windows Security Product, contributing to new features and enhancing overall product quality. This role participates in iterative software development cycles with a strong emphasis on code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation for our Windows Security Product.
Contribute to feature automation to advance product capabilities.
Participate in agile development cycles, focusing on code quality, scalability, and performance.
Adhere to company engineering practices and secure coding guidelines.
Develop automation solutions using Python and other scripting languages.
Design and develop test automation artifacts like scripts, functions, and scenarios.
Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
Coordinate and facilitate test automation planning, design, and execution sessions.
Identify and implement opportunities for improved testing efficiencies and automation.
Create and implement test automation strategies for projects in an Agile model.
Collaborate with developers and business teams to identify automation needs early in the development cycle.
Design, execute, monitor, and troubleshoot automated tests in various conditions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BE/B.Tech/MCA), or a related field, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in automation development for Windows applications.
Proficiency in Python, Pytest, and Jenkins.
Strong understanding of Windows OS technologies and Windows Internals.
Experience with Agile, TDD, SOA, and various test methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Remote Desktop Testing automation.
Experience with reporting tools; Allure reporting is a plus.
Experience automating browser dialog interactions.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new information and techniques.
