Your Career

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Workday Security expert to lead the technical reimplementation and establishment of a security governance model. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and scalable security model. 

In addition, you’ll lead production control, change management, and audit activities to bring our Workday compliance automation to the next level! Your future will include broad opportunities across the Workday platform to implement and own functional modules, while continuing to evolve and mature overall system governance.

This position requires a deep understanding of HR data, processes, security, and compliance standards.

Your Impact

  • Bring your enthusiasm and expertise in Workday to lead the Security Architecture team through a reimplementation program
  • Develop a robust security and governance model in partnership with process owners to establish and enforce data security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive HR data
  • Execute hands-on configuration of all types of Workday security 
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on security, data and reporting capabilities and limitations
  • Create an 18-month security roadmap and data classification model
  • Continuously improve and manage a scalable security architecture to protect sensitive employee information enable efficient administration and transaction processing
  • Utilize your knowledge and experience in operationalizing and governing a large enterprise Workday implementation
  • Advocate for Workday opportunities and best practices across an evolving landscape of HR processes and systems
  • Drive automation and scalability across Workday modules to minimize manual work and ensure data integrity
  • Align data governance across Workday and other downstream platforms
  • Apply critical thinking and experience to invent and evolve the way employees interact with Workday via new tools and technologies

Your Experience 

  • 5+ years experience delivering enterprise HCM systems, including Workday
  • 3+ years experience designing and managing Workday security architecture and administration
  • At least one large end-to-end implementation of an enterprise HCM system with a demonstrated deep knowledge of configuration and architecture
  • Current Workday certification a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership in overall production support, tenant management, change control and release management governance roles
  • Experience designing and implementing IT general control compliance for Workday
  • Internal / external audit liaison experience
  • Strong understanding of Workday's business processes and data model
  • Cross-module expertise to design, configure, and implement Workday solutions
  • Ability to develop complex reports and queries
  • Demonstrated ability to elevate customer relationships and design optimal processes
  • Self-directed, ambitious leader, always looking for opportunities to better your work product
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment - we quickly pivot to deliver value to our fast-paced business

We are passionate about leveraging the power of technology to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and empower every employee to do their best work. Your role will be crucial in designing foundational architectural and governance processes that unlock the value of Workday.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $145000 - $235500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
