Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a highly motivated senior financial professional who is interested to play a key role in the growth and development of the Finance Center of Excellence (COE).  This role will  Responsible for the Record to Report coordination with R2R GPO and Functional delivery team to understand their processes, assist in identifying areas for improvement and supporting the GPOs in defining the performance  metrics and KPIs; supports transition execution and PMO activities 

The candidate must demonstrate ability to adhere to our corporate core values of Disruption, Execution, Collaboration, Integrity and Inclusion.

Your Impact

Continuous Improvement

  • Establish End-to-End Record to Report process Vision & develop Record to Report process roadmap
  • Monitor Record to Report process performance & identify opportunities for improvement
  • Prioritize & secure funding for Record to Report process Improvement opportunities
  • Drive Record to Report process improvements
  • Promote process–oriented culture
  • Ensure technology implementation successfully aligns Record to Report priorities
  • Drive the effort the KPI and Metrics for managing the delivery team in coordination with the Service Delivery Leads 

Project Management

  • Coordinate with the Project Managers throughout the Record to Report projects

COE Service Transition Execution

  • Responsible for managing the transition for new or enhanced activities added to the list of services in the delivery team
  • Coordinate with the transition lead during the transition to ensure a successful transition 

Your Experience

  • BA/BS in Commerce, an MBA or similar Accounting / Finance degree (or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience )
  • Certification as a Chartered Accountant is a plus
  • 10+ overall years of experience with time within a US headquartered global Fortune 500 company, preferably within the high tech industry
  • 4+ years of experience in a management role within a large scale shared services / COE / GBS / BPO environment
  • Robust knowledge of SAP S4 HANA
  • Advanced spreadsheet and presentation skill with experience of BI tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Real passion for continuous improvement of systems and processes
