Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to join the Japan Marketing Team, responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for our major accounts in Japan in line with our business objectives. This position will report to the Director of JAPAC DG Hub and Japan Marketing, and presents a great opportunity for a talented individual with the desire to be part of a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.
In this role, you will be a key player in the transformation of the security market and work with stakeholders across the company to fuel awareness and demand. Your responsibilities will include closely partnering with the Japan sales teams to create and implement impactful marketing strategies customised for the top accounts in Japan, as identified by the Japan Sales Team. You will collaborate closely with the sales and account management teams to integrate marketing efforts with account strategies and goals as well as establish clear goals and KPIs for account-specific marketing initiatives.
Your experience in field, channel, demand generation, or campaign marketing in the cybersecurity industry, as well as your love for fast-paced initiatives, will benefit you in this role.
Your Impact
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to a defined list of target accounts in Japan, seamlessly aligning with our Japan business plan, and provide program measurement and reports of the same
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to a defined list of target industries in collaboration with the sales team
- Design tailored experiences, including white-glove and micro experiences personalized to the preferences and needs of the CXOs
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful campaign and event execution and high engagement from key accounts, while tracking and evaluating event outcomes and incorporating feedback into future planning
- Collaborate with Japan Top of Market sales teams to understand priorities, aligning strategic account-specific marketing programs to support sales objectives
- Partner with marketing and inside sales teams to align efforts, discover and deploy top-performing tactics to create, develop, and close qualified leads and opportunities, and communicate program status, action items, results reporting, and deliverables across marketing and sales
- Collaborate with the channel marketing team to map joint ABM efforts with the Value Partner strategies
- Manage campaign budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI
Your Experience
- 10+ years in a field, channel, demand-generation, or campaign marketing role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry
- Knowledge of and experience in marketing to enterprise sectors preferred
- Experience owning and partnering on marketing programs with an understanding of how to measure marketing mix performance
- Passion and skill for leading and partnering with cross-functional teams
- Experience working with and communicating with sales teams
- Excellent communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically, come up with effective solutions across teams, and communicate them effectively
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce.com and/ or Marketo, with the ability to track campaigns, leads, and pull reporting
- Hands-on experience with managing events and working trade shows, with a deep understanding of event planning from strategy to execution
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves to work on what needs to get done - list uploads, creative projects, data cleaning etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proficient in English speaking and writing skills
