Palo Alto Networks Recognized for Supporting Veterans
As we observe Veterans Day in the United States, we are proud to announce that we have been recognized again as a Military-Friendly and Military Spouse Friendly Employer. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to supporting U.S. military veterans as they transition into civilian careers.
The awards are more than just a badge of honor. They reflect our ongoing dedication to providing military veterans with meaningful employment opportunities, recognizing their unique skills and experiences, and facilitating a seamless transition into civilian life. To earn these awards, we've demonstrated a strong commitment to hiring, training and retaining veterans.
Here are a few of the initiatives that make us a leader in empowering veterans in the workforce:
VETS Net Veterans Employee Network Group
Our VETS Net veterans employee network group plays a crucial role in supporting veterans in our organization. This group provides a sense of community, offering mentorship, networking opportunities and a platform for veterans to share their experiences and support veterans inside and outside Palo Alto Networks. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, we ensure veterans have the resources they need to succeed.
Skills Translation Assistance
We understand that transitioning from military service to the civilian workforce can be challenging. To bridge this gap, we offer skills translation assistance. We work closely with veterans to help them identify how their military skills and experiences align with our job requirements, making it easier for them to find a suitable position within our company.
Military Leave and Benefits
At Palo Alto Networks, we value the contributions of our employees who are called to active duty. We provide robust military leave and benefits that go beyond legal requirements, ensuring that our employees have peace of mind when they need to fulfill their military obligations.
Mentorship and Training

Recruitment and Outreach
We participate in military job fairs and outreach programs to connect with talented transitioning U.S. military and veterans. We support veterans charities and volunteer with organizations to help veterans outside Palo Alto Networks.
Our Pledge
Today’s awards, as well as our recognition earlier this week as a 2023 Military Times Best for Vets Employer, are a source of great pride for Palo Alto Networks, but also a reminder of the responsibility we have to continue supporting veterans.
