Your Impact
Lead full lifecycle development of backend features for Prisma Cloud (CSPM and Platform): from requirements gathering, architecture/design, implementation, testing, deployment, through to production support and maintenance
Work closely with peers across different teams and disciplines to shape solutions and integrate with other parts of the product
Contribute to team-wide efforts - code reviews, design reviews, technical and architectural decisions
Production oriented approach with providing real time mitigation and solutions to production issues
As a Senior Individual Contributor you will lead by example and drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on execution, quality, and speed
Lead Architecture and enforce high technical standards across a growing team of engineers to build a highly functioning software development team
Your Experience
M.S/B.S degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 10+ years of software engineering experience, including development of a scalable server-side application
Extensive hands-on programming skills in Java and Python (Go is a plus)
Strong computer science fundamentals (e.g. understanding of lock-free data structures, bloom filters, minimal perfect hashing, consistent hashing etc)
Proven Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP / AWS / Azure)
Experience with Microservices architecture (Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, AKS, Docker, Serverless, etc)
Experience with big–data architectures (using Kafka, Splunk, Flink, etc)
Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL based databases
Experience working in an agile and dynamic environment
High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infra
Familiarity with Cyber Technologies, Information Security, and Software Security
Enjoys working with many different teams with strong collaboration and communication skills

Our Cortex Cloud engineering team is at the core of our products, directly connected to our mission of preventing cyberattacks by providing best-in-class cloud security. We are constantly innovating and challenging the way the industry thinks about cybersecurity. Specifically, the Posture Security team is responsible for developing and maintaining the critical backend infrastructure that enables our customers to identify, prioritize, and remediate security risks across their multi-cloud environments. We’re looking for individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity, excited by a challenge, and empowered by the unknown risks we work to solve. You’ll be part of a team that is crucial in delivering comprehensive cloud security posture management, helping organizations secure their cloud workloads, data, and infrastructure.
