Job Summary

The Idira Team at Palo Alto is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and focused Domain Consultant with 5-10 years of experience to be based in Colombia. The Domain Consultant will combine technical knowledge with sales skills with and is ultimately responsible for the technical win during the sales cycle.


Domain Consultants are the primary technical resource for the field sales force hence, they are

responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the Sales,Channel Management and Product Management as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our solutions. Therefore, you must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. You must be able to identify all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Above all, we are looking for someone that can communicate the value of our Idira platform and be able to design an optimal solution for complex customer infrastructure and datacenter environments on a global scale.


The essential duties of the Domain Consultant shall be to offer Idira's product solutions to customers and prospects, including:

  • Technical Pre-Sales support
  • Proactively seek out new sales opportunities by developing new and existing technical relationships within prospective accounts and current active customers
  • Present Idira’s technical value proposition to customers and partners effectively
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Conduct and Ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs and POVs)
  • Documentation of client feature requests and issues in CRM system
  • Support Palo Alto and partner seminars and industry trade shows
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Develop technical knowledge of Idira and associated technologies
  • Assume the role of a mentor to other system engineers when appropriate
  • Create training content for the DC organization when appropriate
  • Serve as a key escalation point for internal activities, providing guidance and support, navigating complex technical or strategic challenges
  • You will work cross-functionally with sales, product, support, and services teams to remove roadblocks, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders, helping maintain momentum in critical customer engagements.

Requirements

  • MIS/Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Prior experience with Idira Solutions (previosly CyberArk) or relevant experience with enterprise applications, Identity and Access Management, Privilege Access Management, Identity & Governance Administrations solutions is preferred
  • A solid understanding of the broader cybersecurity landscape is a key requirement.
  • A strong understanding of the Identity Security market, including key trends, challenges, and the competitive landscape, is considered a plus
  • Strong understanding of both private and public sector selling
  • Strong experience with public Clouds like AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Strong experience with Windows/Active Directory administration
  • Strong experience with Linux administration and operations
  • Strong experience with Database administration
  • Strong experience with Network Security solutions
  • Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work cross organizationally toward solutions; excellent leadership and consensus building skills
  • Strong understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical and regulatory requirements
  • Understanding technical concepts of Authentication and Authorization
  • Coding or Scripting knowledge is a plus
  • Travel as needed (> 50%)
