The Professional Services Consultant is a strategic, post-sales hybrid role responsible for guiding customers through the full deployment lifecycle and ensuring long-term technical account success with Idira Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. This position combines technical architecture and deployment with ongoing technical governance, adoption drive, and executive-level advisory services. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will take ownership of technical success criteria, guide customers for production-readiness, and maintain continuous technical oversight to drive account health, renewal expansion, and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, architect, and oversee customized Privileged Access Management programs tailored to client goals.
Lead design and planning workshops to architect enterprise deployments around CyberArk PAM solutions.
Assess customer needs to establish technical priorities, mitigate risk, and advise on optimal deployment paths.
Maintain long-term, trusted advisor relationships with enterprise customer teams and C-level executive sponsors.
Conduct technical health checks, architecture reviews, and performance assessments to ensure security best practices alignment.
Participate in customer reviews to report on adoption, platform health, and value delivery metrics.
Monitor platform utilization and provide actionable recommendations to drive usage expansion and reduce security risks.
Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic accounts, managing critical escalations across internal teams.
Act as the internal voice of the customer, gathering feedback to influence product roadmaps and operations.
Partner with CSMs and AEs to identify account risks, drive renewals, and uncover expansion opportunities.
Collaborate across Services, Support, Product, and R&D teams to resolve complex technical issues rapidly.
Manage multiple concurrent enterprise customer engagements with exceptional organizational efficiency and attention to detail.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience working with CyberArk or equivalent enterprise PAM solutions.
5+ years of experience in enterprise software or security consulting.
2+ years of experience in a Technical Account Manager (TAM) or Technical Customer Success role.
3+ years of experience at a SaaS or cybersecurity vendor delivering professional or technical account services.
Hands-on experience using modern AI productivity tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) to enhance day-to-day execution.
Broad knowledge across databases, networking, Active Directory/IDP systems, systems administration, and application security.
Strong background in Identity & Access Management (IAM), network security, and enterprise risk management.
Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, build executive rapport, and drive long-term platform value.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot critical issues and resolve complex challenges under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to tailor technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CyberArk migrations, including Self-Hosted to Self-Hosted or Self-Hosted to Privilege Cloud.
CISSP, Security+, CyberArk CDE/CPC, or equivalent security certifications.
Fast learner with a dynamic approach to adopting and experimenting with new workplace technology integrations.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
