Job Summary

Your Impact

  • Own the Partner Portal content strategy to ensure it aligns with marketing and sales objectives while supporting the partner journey. Regularly collaborate with the product marketing teams to ensure the content and resources within the Partner Portal are relevant and up-to-date. This includes oversight of the Digital Asset Management tool and content. 

  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of global partner awareness webinars designed to educate and engage our partner ecosystem on key product innovations and program offerings that accelerate partner success.

  • Collaborate with internal AV teams and external video production partners to deliver dynamic, partner-facing video updates, spotlighting critical news, program changes, and strategic initiatives.

  • Engage with Learning & Development teams for content used in promoting the partner program and enabling access for partners who need to enroll in courses to meet certification requirements. 

  • Support and enhance the global partner social media strategy by curating timely updates and thought leadership content for use across executive social media channels while collaborating with the Corporate Social team to amplify partner news on the Palo Alto Networks platforms. 

  • Contribute to executive communications initiatives by developing compelling content and messaging that amplifies the voice of global partner leaders.

  • Innovate virtual engagement tactics by identifying and implementing new digital methods to connect with and activate partners across diverse geographies.

  • Manage internal communication platforms, including ownership of the Channel Loop site and key Slack channels, to ensure timely and relevant distribution of partner-focused updates and resources.

  • Exhibit strong project management expertise, aligning cross-functional stakeholders across business units to deliver high-quality partner communications and assets that enhance brand perception.

  • Engage with key vendors and negotiate contract terms and costs for graphics, ghost writing, and newsletter development to provide consistent experiences for partners who receive news and updates.  

  • Define and track KPIs for partner communications and programs, leveraging platform analytics and engagement metrics to continuously optimize strategy and demonstrate ROI to leadership.

  • Be instrumental in delivering a world-class partner experience as a key member of the Partner Experience team, where your creativity and collaboration will ensure consistent messaging and Palo Alto Networks’ brand voice across all communication platforms.   

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual with a professional reputation for first-rate execution.

  • Executive communication: Ability to craft clear, compelling messaging for executive audiences and external stakeholders free of grammar and spelling mistakes.

  • Content strategy: Skilled in building and managing content ecosystems that support the partner experience across platforms (e.g., portal, webinars, social, video, collateral).

  • Storytelling: Adept at translating technical or programmatic content into engaging narratives (e.g., success stories, partner wins).

  • Channel ecosystem knowledge: Deep understanding of partner go-to-market models, partner segmentation, and channel sales dynamics.

  • Partner engagement mapping: Experience aligning content and communication to different stages of the partner lifecycle (onboarding, enablement, growth).

  • Enablement alignment: Ability to ensure marketing communications are tied to sales enablement and partner success outcomes.

  • Webinar and video production: Experience managing end-to-end virtual event and video production, from ideation to distribution.

  • Social media marketing: Ability to support executive visibility and partner awareness through curated and platform-specific content.

  • Innovation mindset: Comfort with experimenting and implementing new tools or methods for digital partner engagement. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and News On Demand a plus.

  • Stakeholder management: Skilled in navigating complex matrixed environments and aligning cross-functional teams (product marketing, sales, legal, AV, external vendors).

  • Program/project management: Proven track record of managing multiple initiatives with precision, from planning to delivery.

  • Collaboration: Ability to unify efforts across global teams and time zones to drive consistent messaging and program execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ years of social media strategy experience

  • 10+ years in partner marketing roles with a focus on enablement and communication

  • 10+ years experience working with global teams and diverse cultural requirements

  • Solid interpersonal and decision-making skills

  • Ability to travel

The Global Ecosystem Programs organization at Palo Alto Networks is a strategic pillar for our continued growth within cybersecurity, and a critical component to accomplishing our mission. Channel development is an extension of the territory sales team, with an ultimate goal to train and enable our partners/distributors to be empowered in the use and sales of our products, services, and solutions.


Qualifications

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
