We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager, Tax Provision & Forecasting to lead our global financial statement tax reporting processes. In this pivotal role, reporting to the Senior Director US Tax Operations, you will own the end-to-end ASC 740 tax provision process, maintain robust SOX 404 controls, and serve as the primary liaison to our external financial statement auditors. You will sit at the intersection of tax law, financial reporting, and corporate strategy—translating complex accounting standards into clear business insights for senior executives.

Your Impact

  • Lead the calculation, consolidation, and review of the quarterly and annual global tax provisions under ASC 740, including current and deferred tax balances, valuation allowance assessments, and effective tax rate (ETR) reconciliations.

  • Manage uncertain tax positions (ASC 740-10 / FIN 48), including identification, measurement, technical documentation, and tax reserve calculations.

  • Oversee financial statement disclosures, tax footnotes, and technical accounting memos for annual and quarterly financial filings.

  • Analyze the accounting impact of complex tax transactions, international frameworks (GILTI, BEAT, Pillar Two), transfer pricing models, and M&A activities.

  • Administer and optimize dedicated tax software (ONESOURCE, Corptax) and drive process automation across reporting workflows using tools like Alteryx, Power BI, or advanced modeling.

  • Maintain, test, and enforce internal controls (SOX 404 compliance) over the corporate tax provision and reporting processes.

  • Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and Corporate Development to model multi-quarter ETR forecasts, cash flow projections, and structural impacts from new legislation.

  • Communicate complex tax accounting concepts clearly to executive management, cross-functional partners, and non-tax financial teams.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required (or MST / JD equivalent).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Taxation (MST) or MBA strongly preferred.

  • Experience: 8–10+ years of progressive tax accounting experience within public accounting (Big 4 or large national firm) or a multinational corporate tax department.

  • Systems Proficiency: Hands-on operational experience with specialized provision engines (ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Corptax) and enterprise ERPs (SAP, NetSuite).

  • Leadership & Core Skills: Proven ability to lead complex financial close cycles under tight deadlines, paired with exceptional analytical skills and executive-level written and verbal communication.
