Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced finance leader to join the team as Senior Director of Finance, Latin America, based in São Paulo, Brazil.  We are looking for a highly collaborative finance leader who is passionate for driving change and decision making in a fast-paced environment.  Working in partnership with regional Sales leaders in LATAM, you will be responsible for driving the growth strategy and business plans across the theater.  This individual will report to the Senior Vice President of Finance at Palo Alto Networks.

Your Impact

  • Serves as the key business partner to the President of LATAM and his Sales leaders to drive effective and timely decision support in the theater 

  • Partners with the theater business leaders in developing business strategy, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and overall decision support for the LATAM region, which includes providing analysis in all areas of the business including bookings, operating costs and theater contribution margins

  • Develops a deep understanding of the drivers of topline, profitability and partner with functional Finance leaders for Ecosystems, Services and Marketing to drive investment decisions and ROI analysis

  • Supports the business by collaborating with cross functional teams on new products, sales programs, channel incentives and other initiatives within the region

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the products, offerings, and go-to market motions, provide strategic financial advice on deal structure, review and approve non-standard pricing and terms.

  • Implements tools/benchmarks to support local theater senior management decision-making and facilitate efficient operations i.e. cost models, benchmarks, investment allocation, gating approvals

  • Prepares/analyzes monthly and quarterly KPIs

  • Lead transformation projects that enhance the operational effectiveness of finance as we strive to be a high performing global finance team.

Your Experience 

  • Senior Sales Finance leadership experience of a growth-oriented tech company required 

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting, MBA preferred

  • 15+ years related experience showing strong career progression

  • Multinational management experience leading Finance or Operations functions

  • Experience in driving change and scaling business operations and strategy 

  • Excellent communication, analytical and business planning skills, with an understanding of SaaS, software, appliances and/or internet industry business models

  • Ability to prioritize business needs, adapt to rapid business changes and communicate effectively

  • Ability to collaborate and lead in a matrix environment

  • Fluent in Spanish / Portuguese preferred
