Job Summary

IDIRA Secure Infrastructure Access (SIA) for RDP provides secure, brokered Remote Desktop access to Windows servers without exposing credentials or opening inbound network access. While the gateway targets Windows endpoints, our core infrastructure and engine run entirely on modern Linux and cloud-native architecture:

• Engineering Environment: Apple Mac workstations (macOS).
• Runtime & Infrastructure: Modern C++ running in Linux containers (Docker/Kubernetes), AWS Lambda, and cloud microservices.

We are searching for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our expanding SIA RDP team in Bulgaria. You will be part of a high-performing cross-functional team of developers, architects, and QA engineers, taking end-to-end ownership of core engine performance, protocol handling, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver high-performance, low-latency features and enhancements for the SIA RDP product.
• Collaborate closely with systems architects, QA, and security teams across the software lifecycle.
• Champion clean, testable, and secure coding practices, threat modeling, and code reviews.
• Mentor team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and engineering rigor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Modern C++ (C++17/20) within Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong background in systems-level programming: multithreading, concurrency, memory optimization, and network I/O (TCP/IP, sockets).
• Exceptional analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Proven ability to independently navigate, understand, and learn complex distributed systems.
• Experience with modern CI/CD workflows and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Artifactory).

The following will be consider as advantage:

• AI-Augmented Engineering: Practical experience leveraging modern AI developer tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to explore unfamiliar codebases, plan complex tasks, and execute cross-repository implementations.
• Cloud & Serverless: Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Security & Protocols: Familiarity with secure network protocols (TLS/SSL), authentication mechanisms (LDAP, RADIUS, Kerberos), or OWASP standards.
• Scripting: Working experience with Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
