Job Summary

As a Domain Consultant / Solutions Engineer at Idira [CyberArk], you will be at the forefront of demonstrating the value of our identity security solutions to both prospective and existing Enterprise customers. In this role, you will showcase how Idira [CyberArk] secures critical assets across hybrid cloud environments, distributed workforces, and emerging AI-driven workloads through product demos, presentations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).

You will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to guide clients through the technology evaluation phase. Working closely with the sales team, you will act as the primary technical resource, serving as the key technical advisor and advocate for Idira’s solutions, ensuring that clients understand the business, technical, and compliance benefits.

Success in this role depends on clearly communicating complex technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders. We are seeking a solution-driven professional passionate about solving modern security challenges across global industries.

Your Impact

• Execute ownership over assigned standard product opportunities, applying technical expertise and established frameworks to secure the Technical Win, collaborating with peers when navigating complex challenges.
• Define and execute core technical demonstrations and validate standard customer use cases, finalizing the Design of Record (DoR) to effectively validate solution fit.
• Orchestrate internal resources to identify and resolve lifecycle obstacles, proactively keeping proof-of-value (POV) projects moving forward to completion.
• Maintain steady execution velocity and resilience during standard POVs, efficiently troubleshooting technical roadblocks when parameters shift.
• Drive technical fluency across assigned subdomains, continuously expanding hands-on expertise to broaden domain coverage.
• Guide customer decisions by effectively communicating key technical capabilities and core platform features to technical stakeholders.
• Define the technical vision for customers by showcasing operational benefits and key features during engagements to highlight platform value.
• Drive alignment with internal stakeholders by maintaining accurate data hygiene for assigned opportunities and actively sharing technical discoveries with the broader team.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven track record working with customers, demonstrating strong problem-solving, communication skills, and a "can-do" attitude.
• Solid understanding of identity providers and directories (e.g., Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, LDAP, Ping).
• Strong background in enterprise technology stacks, including Windows Server administration and Unix/Linux environments.
• Solid background for enterprise Cloud environments across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Ability to integrate third-party enterprise software within complex, distributed infrastructure environments.
• Ability to travel as needed for in-person customer meetings up to 50%
• Fluent in German and English. Fluency in French would be a plus

Preferred:

• 3+ years in IT Cybersecurity pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting roles.
• Scripting experience for workflow automation and environment deployment.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, SANS, CEH, Security+, AWS Security, Google Cloud Security, Azure Security).
• Hands-on experience with Cybersecurity, Identity Security, or the CyberArk/Idira platform ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP) and Just-In-Time (JIT) access models.
• Direct experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
