Job Summary

Your Career

As the Senior Manager, Sales Acceleration, you will be the high-velocity of our sales engine. This is a premier, highly strategic, and customer-facing role designed for an elite sales operator who thrives in the field. Instead of just coaching from the sidelines, you will actively embed yourself into our most critical, high-touch accounts across the region. You will partner with field sales leadership to architect, run, and close massive, complex enterprise engagements. Your ultimate mandate is to orchestrate in high-stakes environments to unlock new pipelines, scale deal sizes, build trusted C-level relationships, and accelerate the transition of major organizations into a secure, platform-driven online environment.

Your Impact

  • Active Deal Pursuit & Execution: Spend the majority of your time directly in front of customers. Co-lead strategic sales engagements alongside field teams to land net-new enterprise accounts and exponentially grow existing ones.

  • High-Impact Attack Strategies: Transform traditional account reviews into active "attack strategies." Lead the mapping of enterprise-level stakeholders and build compelling economic business cases that shift customer mindsets from point-product purchases to holistic, AI-integrated security platforms.

  • Deal Architecture & Complex Navigation: Play a critical, hands-on role in navigating complex major accounts to generate winning proposals, high-stakes contract bids, statements of work, and enterprise-level RFI/RFP responses.

  • C-Suite Influence: Conduct highly effective, visionary presentations to C-level executives, establishing immediate credibility and positioning Palo Alto Networks as a vital strategic partner.

  • Maximize Sales Velocity & Deal Size: Proactively identify and eliminate roadblocks in the sales cycle. Employ world-class account strategy to identify massive cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, driving larger enterprise-wide deployments and maximizing win rates.

  • Cross-Functional Ecosystem Leadership: Act as the bridge between regional sales teams, channel partners, and corporate marketing/ecosystem functions to ensure pursuit teams have the exact tools, research, and technical backing needed to win.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • A proven history of success in high-performance enterprise field sales, major account management, or dedicated deal-pursuit roles. You have a reputation for opening doors and closing large, multi-million-dollar deals.

  •  Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate with, and build trusted relationships alongside enterprise C-suite executives.

  • Expert ability to facilitate complex account planning sessions, untangle highly matrixed customer organizations, and run structured quarterly sales cycles for both hardware and software solutions.

  • A thoughtful, disciplined, and passionate leader who can influence without authority. You have the field credibility to partner with and elevate experienced Account Managers and Sales Leaders.

  • A strong, visionary business interest in the cybersecurity landscape. While deep technical coding isn't required, you love a technical challenge and comfortably champion the impact of AI-driven security and opportunity-development tools.

  • Experience working across the culturally diverse markets of Japan and APAC. You embrace a rapid-growth environment and excel at executing complex initiatives with minimal direction.
