Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business organizations (Product Management, Sales, Operations, IT, Legal, Support, Finance, etc.) to evaluate and launch new products and programs, ensuring proper revenue recognition and system implementation
- Write detail Functional Specifications to translate the business requirements into functional design and oversee the development of the proposed solution
- Design, test, and execute system implementation to properly account for NPI projects under SAP
- Work with the project team that is delivering enterprise-wide SAP Transformational Programs using SAP ERP Finance tools such as S/4HANA
- Comprehend the order to cash cycle of products and services with the ability to give constructive recommendations that maximized the Company’s revenue outlook
- Manage multiple User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch validations to ensure seamless system implementation of NPI products and services
- Manage project updates and internal communication within the Finance organization and represent in cross-functional meetings
- Drive improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness into all NPI activities and deliverables
- Research, evaluate, and prepare technical accounting memos for NPI projects
- Assist with other special projects, as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related discipline
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in revenue accounting and operation in the technology industry
- Excellent knowledge of SAP
- Experience working with SAP S4/HANA
- Prior experience in system implementation and UAT
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with attention to details
- Motivated self-starter who takes initiative
- Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Big 4 and relevant industry experience
