Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to play a key role in our Ecosystems team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of our Partner Portal solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and user-centric. You will work closely with the Principal Engineer and Product teams to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on coding expertise, system design skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Delivery: Contribute to the technical design and implementation of key features within our Partner Portal (Experience Cloud), ensuring high performance and security.
Hands-On Development: Serve as a core contributor using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and standard APIs.
UI Innovation: Integrate external JavaScript libraries to build sophisticated, custom user interfaces.
Process Adherence & Quality: Adhere to development best practices, including Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, and Git workflows, while participating in code reviews to minimize technical debt.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Work with Business and Product Management to clarify requirements and provide accurate effort estimates.
AI Implementation: Support the team's innovation roadmap by implementing AI and LLM use cases to improve partner engagement.
System Integration: Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems (middleware/ERP) to ensure seamless data flow.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education: BE, BTech, or equivalent degree in a related field.
Experience: 6+ years of deep, hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
Partner Portal Expertise: Proven experience in building and customizing Salesforce Experience Cloud (Partner Portals), including custom branding and sharing sets.
Full-Stack Salesforce Skills: Proficiency in LWC, Apex, Triggers, SOQL, and Asynchronous processing.
External Integration: Demonstrated success in integrating external JS libraries into Salesforce solutions.
Development Lifecycle: Command of Salesforce deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and source control (Git) in an agile environment.
Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with product managers.
Preferred Qualifications
Middleware Experience: Hands-on experience with integration platforms; specific knowledge of SnapLogic is a strong plus.
CPQ Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ objects and processes to support quoting workflows.
AI & Innovation: Solid understanding of Generative AI concepts and a strong interest in building AI-enabled features. ERP Integrations: Experience with ERP integrations, such as SAP.
