Your Career

In this role, you will manage a team of Technical Services  Consultants in your assigned region. You will be responsible for driving the services business, providing management oversight to your team and all ongoing engagements, including recruiting, managing, directing, and inspiring a team with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds.  You will ensure the delivery of Palo Alto Networks solutions, exceeding expectations and driving high levels of customer engagement. You will also work closely with sales to ensure customer satisfaction, build relationships with all customers in your region and ensure customer success and reference ability.

Your Impact

  • Provide strategic direction and input to the technical development of Technical Services Consultants reporting to you
  • Manage the activities of the team such as hiring, development, promotions, time off, expense reports, development growth, training, and corrective actions
  • Build relationships with customers who have long term engagements to ensure that the timelines are being met, feedback on how the consultants are performing, escalations, etc.
  • Build relationships with the sales team to ensure customer requirements are met, drive new business by utilizing Technical Services capabilities and offerings
  • Ensure all customer engagements are successful
  • Provide status to the Services leadership team on all major activities, issues, escalations, etc.
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic direction for Technical Services
  • Partner with other Technical Services Manager in the region across the different technology areas, to ensure a consistent and cohesive customer delivery strategy

Your Experience 

  • Experience managing teams of 10+ multi-disciplined, technical resources and/or at minimum have experience managing highly complex client projects/programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of networking technologies and managing teams in a large-scale deployment/environment
  • Skilled in key business systems – SFDC, Clarizen, G-Suite preferred
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as NGFW, Prisma Access & SD WAN
  • The ability to solve problems creatively and develop and manage business solutions for complex problems
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience meeting revenue and/or customer satisfaction targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to manage challenging situations
  • Certifications such as CISSP and/or others like PMP preferred

You’ll be involved in implementing new products, transitioning from old products to new, and will fix integrations and critical issues as they are raised. But you won’t wait for them to be raised, you’ll seek them out, too. We fix and identify technical problems, with a pointed focus on providing the best customer support in the industry.
