Over seven years with Palo Alto Networks!

As we begin a new year, I have a tradition to celebrate and give thanks for all the blessings I’ve received and acknowledge the learnings from the good and tough experiences to become a better version of myself next year.

Memorably, 2024 marked my seventh anniversary at Palo Alto Networks (PANNiversary), which by the way, has passed in a blink of an eye. I can confidently say that the pandemic’s challenges made the time pass even faster. For sure, I’m not the only person that was touched by the wisdom to become more aware of finding balance because I have the fortune to live and exist and be surrounded by the people I love the most – and in my professional life, I feel challenged, motivated and passionate to deliver my best.

Palo Alto Networks began offering employees a global FLEXBenefits program during the pandemic, which has expanded to cover a wide variety of items and experiences to help our well-being. I’ve been using FLEXBenefits for sports attire, gym passes and competition fees throughout the years.

This year, I was able to participate in a couple of marathons–in fact, I used some of my FLEXBenefits to buy my running shoes and pay the fee to participate. The sports and competitions give me the inner energy – my dopamine dose -- to stretch my limits. The significance of the FLEXBenefits program is that Palo Alto Networks dedicates 100% of these funds to employees’ well-being, and that’s super meaningful. Palo Alto Networks is continuously betting on us and encouraging every individual to pursue the best for themselves.

From the perspective of professional life at Palo Alto Networks, I can share that this company reinvents every single year. Particularly for my team in the Technical Sales organization, it makes us feel super challenged and motivated to be part of THE company that is the north star for cybersecurity. With constant innovation, disruption and growth that pushes all of the organization to deliver the best products and services to our customers, it’s the right place to advance in my professional career.
