Volunteering at Palo Alto Networks

We are proud to be one of the Top Most Loved Workplaces® For Volunteering in 2025. Technical Operations Specialist Kyle Campbell shares how his teammates recently gave back to their local community:

On Veterans Day, the Technical Operations team in Santa Clara and our guests from Technical Partner Programs, GTM Strategy, and TS Platform Engineering & Reference Design, worked to create care packages for veterans in the Bay Area.

We partnered with Operation Care and Comfort, a San Jose-based nonprofit that sends care packages to deployed service members and supports veterans within local organizations like homeless shelters, substance abuse treatment centers, and assisted living facilities.

Thanks to everyone's effort, we assembled 200 care packages, all containing handwritten notes of thanks, which will be distributed to local veterans in facilities such as homeless shelters and assisted living centers. Our contact at OCC was thrilled when we dropped them off at their warehouse near the San Jose airport.

In addition to the hands-on volunteering, we were able to provide an extra monetary donation directly to Operation Care and Comfort to further support their critical mission.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us support our local veteran community, and a shout out to the Shipping and Receiving team for their essential logistical support, and to the Events and Catering team for their help in organizing a successful open-house event.
