From Intern to Full-Time Software Engineer at Palo Alto Networks India

I joined Palo Alto Networks in January 2023, kicking off my journey as an intern in the Cloud-Delivered Next-Generation Firewall (CNGFW) team. By August, I was delighted to step into the role of a full-time software engineer.

From day one, I was lucky to be part of some crucial projects. These projects weren't just tasks on a to-do list; they were real opportunities to dive deep, learn, and grow. Whether it was debugging a tricky issue or developing new features, each challenge helped me hone my technical skills. There were moments of frustration, sure. But there were also moments of triumph when things finally clicked (and the code compiled without errors!).

Beyond the technical growth, I was fortunate to be part of the LEAP program. The sessions, mentorship, and networking opportunities were invaluable. They provided a broader perspective on career growth and personal development that goes beyond the code.

Looking back, I realize how lucky I am to have started my career at Palo Alto Networks. The supportive environment, the exciting projects, and the incredible people have made it an unforgettable experience. If you're starting out in tech, I can't think of a better platform to launch your journey.

So here's to many more lines of code, countless learning moments, and a career that's just beginning to unfold!
