A Day of Purpose: Strengthening Our Partnership with The Akshaya Patra Foundation
Whether it’s securing digital infrastructure or nourishing young minds, the mission is the same - to create safer, stronger futures.
Our Bangalore office hosted the leadership team from The Akshaya Patra Foundation for a day dedicated to learning, collaboration, and community. The Akshaya Patra Foundation is one of India’s most impactful non-profits, working tirelessly to eliminate classroom hunger through its mid-day meal program.
Cybersecurity in Service of Social Good
The day began with an exclusive Cybersecurity Partnership Workshop for Akshaya Patra’s CxO leadership team. Members from their organization joined us for an in-depth session exploring how technology can strengthen and safeguard their mission-critical systems.
Our team led a tailored workshop that dove deep into cybersecurity best practices and demonstrated how Palo Alto Networks solutions can help protect the digital backbone of a foundation that serves millions of children every day.
Hands-On Volunteering with Heart
While the workshop took place, our employees participated in a volunteering drive that turned out to be one of our most energetic and heartfelt sessions yet. More than 200 team members stopped by to lend their time and creativity, handcrafting paper pens and stitching durable seating mats for Akshaya Patra’s beneficiaries.
A Full-Circle Moment
The most touching part of the day came when Mr. Shridhar Venkat, CEO of The Akshaya Patra Foundation, met a Palo Alto Networks employee who had once been a recipient of Akshaya Patra’s program.
Seeing her now as a successful professional at Palo Alto Networks was a deeply emotional experience - a living testament to the transformative power of Akshaya Patra’s mission. As one attendee said, “It felt like life had come full circle.”
At Palo Alto Networks, we believe that real impact happens when technology meets purpose and this special day with Akshaya Patra was a powerful reminder of that truth.
