Seeing the Whole Picture: What Indu Loves About Systems Operations

Indu thrives on connecting the dots, and in her new role as Manager, Systems Operations, she can see at the “whole picture.” In this Q&A, Indu shares how her role allows her to see how every department at Palo Alto Networks has a role in our success, and the part she can play to make us even stronger.

What has been the most exciting aspect of your new role?

The most exciting part of my new role has been expanding my expertise beyond Cortex, as well as being able to implement processes and best practices to streamline our offerings and processes.

How do you feel this shift has positively impacted your career path?

This shift has given me a broader view of the business and allowed me to see how our various products integrate into the systems, along with how they differ. This understanding allows us to better streamline our workflows to benefit every product and system. This is imperative for my growth and understanding about systems and operational practices.

Where do you see yourself moving forward within the company?

I enjoy seeing the whole picture and understanding how all departments impact the business, from negotiating a deal to booking to provisioning. I see myself moving forward at Palo Alto Networks within an operations role where I can continue to implement best practices to drive innovation and facilitate the growth of the business.
