Palo Alto Networks Returns to WiCyS
Palo Alto Networks returned to the annual Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) conference this year as a proud founding member and premium sponsor. Two of our employees who attended the conference share their experiences being part of this incredible event:
“WiCyS was such an inspiring and genuinely moving experience for me. What stood out most was the strong sense of community — being surrounded by so many passionate, supportive women and allies in cybersecurity made me feel like I truly belonged.
One moment that really stuck with me was listening to the keynote speakers share their personal stories — the challenges they faced, the moments of uncertainty, and how they pushed through. It was such a powerful reminder that growth doesn’t always look like a straight line, and that it’s okay to take bold steps even when things feel uncertain.
I also really valued the chance to meet people at all different stages in their journeys — from students just starting out to seasoned professionals. Every conversation left me with something to reflect on — whether it was a piece of advice, a shared struggle, or just a good laugh over common experiences. WiCyS didn’t just feel like a conference — it felt like a celebration of everything we can achieve when we support and lift each other up. I walked away feeling more inspired, more connected, and more confident that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.” -Archana Muralidharan, Sr Mgr, Technical Risk Management
“WiCyS was an incredible experience as I was able to engage and learn from forward-thinking minds in the cyber space. Hearing what women working in cybersecurity are focused on this year, made me feel very optimistic about the industry as a whole and where we're headed. I remember walking into the main conference hall and being surrounded by smart, passionate, and successful women and I felt so proud to be part of this event. Experiencing women taking space and sharing their expertise in this forum was incredibly motivational and I'm looking forward to coming back next year!” -Maddy Keller, Consultant
