Employee Spotlight: Noa Moyal on Designing the Future of Cybersecurity UX

From designing medical devices to leading UX in cybersecurity, Noa proves that a passion for solving complex, high-stakes problems translates across industries. Learn more about Noa’s journey and her vision for the future of intelligent user interfaces below.

Please tell us how your experiences led to your career in cybersecurity.

I started my career in Industrial Design working on medical devices. While medical devices and cybersecurity may seem worlds apart, they share a critical requirement: solving high-stakes, complex problems where human interaction directly impacts outcomes. My passion for untangling complexity naturally led me to UX leadership in cyber. Behind every complex security system, there is a human who needs clarity, speed, and confidence to make critical decisions.

What are you most excited about for the future?

We are at the beginning of a huge shift in how people interact with software. The classic user interface as we know it—dense dashboards, complex menus, and manual data tables—is completely changing. As interfaces become more intelligent and flexible, software will adapt to the user rather than forcing the user to adapt to the software. Rethinking product design from the ground up for this new era is the most exciting challenge in UX today.

Share an example of how you feel you make a strong impact with respect to our mission: being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life.

Protecting our digital way of life means empowering our customers to navigate security safely and effortlessly, regardless of how complex the underlying technology gets. As our products become more sophisticated and automated, my impact comes from advocating for the human at the other end of the screen. By focusing on clarity, transparency, and intuitive design, my team ensures that as tools evolve to do more behind the scenes, users feel empowered, confident, and always in control.

What advice would you give to a young professional looking to enter the cybersecurity industry?

Jump right in and bring your full background with you—it's your biggest strength. Coming into cybersecurity from a different field lets you see things with fresh eyes. Be curious, ask endless questions, and view every complex challenge as a puzzle waiting to be solved.
